Visitor Policies

In General:

  • Please respect the artifacts - we know the artifacts are exciting and it can be tempting to touch them. We want to, as well. To keep them safe, we've identified very clearly the ones you can touch! The rest need to be admired with our eyes and ears, not our hands.

  • To keep our artifacts and exhibits safe, food and drink can be enjoyed in Arthur’s Hall. Only water is allowed in the galleries.

  • This is a great opportunity to disconnect from your devices and connect with your pals and the exhibits. We've marked areas where your phone can elevate the experience for you!

  • Respect your fellow guest - take an opportunity to say hello and engage with other visitors. You might be delighted by who you meet and what you learn. A gentle reminder, that as part of the community, be a good ranger and be respectful to everyone visiting Sam.

  • Feedback and questions - please speak to one of our helpful staff or volunteers!
