About George Lane
George Lane tells the story of the early development of Western Canada through the eyes of one of its most impactful pioneers. Lane’s life was like a romantic work of fiction; through determination and optimism, he became the wealthiest man of his day, only to die in relative obscurity. However, Lane’s legacy is all around us, from the Bar U Ranch to the Calgary Stampede.
