From flipping pancakes to shaping policy, everyone has a role in democracy. Through a hands-on simulation of a townhall meeting, students will explore how decisions are made, who is involved, and why participation matters. By examining civic action at the Calgary Stampede and beyond, students will gain a deeper understanding of how democracy works and how their voices can help build the future of their city.
